Who Is The Coach?
Dr. Ehrlich has been a licensed clinical
psychologist for 30 yrs. He has worked with numerous executives
on assessment, coaching, consultation and personal development.
Dr. Ehrlich works with executives to help them and their personnel
maximize their talents, strengths and productivity. This not
only helps them excel in their position, but maximizes their
satisfaction in their work as well. Dr. Ehrlich will help you
understand the natural talents of your personnel and help you
approach the setting of goals for them in a way that stretches
and helps them excel at their work. The end result should increase
productivity, personal development and team leadership.
What The Coachee Can Expect During The
Coaching Process:
Dr. Ehrlich will thoroughly assess the coachee
in terms of talents, strengths, skills and competencies in relation
to their current job and desired performance. Through support,
challenge, feedback and homework, Dr. Ehrlich will help balance
and develop these strengths to take the coachee to a higher
level in their work related performance.
Coaching is a team effort, and the coachee
will be expected to input into problem areas, areas of desired
growth, and stimulated thinking in developing innovative solutions
to work related situations. Dr. Ehrlich will work with the coachee's
specific personal talent and skills as highlighted in the assessment
and will utilize coaching techniques to enhance their job/task
performance levels. He will also work closely with the coachee
to help reach goals in all stated areas.
Confidentiality:
All coaching sessions will be held in strict
confidentiality pending progress reports as ordered by senior
management. In such cases, all reports will be presented to
the coachee to read first and sign off on before turning in
to management. A coach will not at any time, either directly
or indirectly, voluntarily use or disclose any client's personal
information to a third party, without expressed written approval
of the client.
The Ethics Of Coaching:
Professional coaching is an ongoing professional
relationship that helps clients produce extraordinary results
in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through
the process of coaching, clients deepen their understandings,
improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.
In each meeting, the client and coach will choose the focus
of conversation. The coach will listen and contribute observations
and questions as well as ideas. The interaction creates clarity
and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client's
progress by providing a greater focus and awareness of choice.
Coaching focuses on client's intentions, choices and actions,
supported by the coach's efforts and application of the coaching
process.
All coaching abides by the code of ethics
as listed by the International Coach Federation as found on
their web site - see 'The ICF Code of Ethics'
Length Of Coaching:
The coaching process typically consists of
one coaching session per week of approximately 50 minutes duration.
These are usually conducted over the phone. Phone coaching eliminates
travel time and provides greater flexibility, allowing client
to be coached wherever they may be. Generally, the coaching
process lasts a minimum of 12 weeks.
Spiritual Coaching:
Dr. Ehrlich has an exceptional background
in religious and spiritual studies. He offers optional coaching
in the area of spiritual mentoring. This area is for exploring
personal growth and transformation. It is less fixated on specific
religious doctrines and more inclined toward an exploration
of spiritual potentialities that often unlock mental, emotional
and spiritual wisdom in one's life.
We all occasionally ponder some of life's
most pressing questions:
